At its April board meeting, the Maine Lobster Festival Board of Directors donated at total of $1,150 to three local recipients.

The Coastal Recovery Community Center received $500. CRCC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to offer a safe, supportive environment to those who suffer from substance use disorder and their families. CRCC offers a peer-based approach to recovery provided by trained recovery coaches.

Haylie Witham, 2017 Maine Sea Goddess, received $400. Haylie will be competing to be the 2019 Miss Maine USA. The winner of Miss Maine USA will be an ambassador for the state, both locally and nationally.

Parent Program of Mid-Coast Maine received $250. PPMM supports parents during pregnancy and the first years of a child’s life through a community of strong and nurturing trained professional parent educators and caring community volunteers.
