The Maine Lobster Festival is deeply sorry to hear of Johnny Winter’s passing and sends best wishes to his family and bandmates. Johnny Winter was one of the world’s greatest guitarists, and we were looking forward to having him along with the rest of the Rock ‘N’ Blues Fest – The Edgar Winter Band, Vanilla Fudge, Pete Rivera of Rare Earth and Savoy Brown’s Kim Simmonds at our event Saturday night.
The good news is that the Rock N’ Blues Fest tour will go on as scheduled as a Tribute to Johnny Winter – and it is certain to be an amazing show. Watch for an announcement about a star guitarist possibly being added to the show.
A non-stop package of classic rock and blues will the highlight of Saturday night show at the Maine Lobster Festival this year. Edgar Winter, Vanilla Fudge, Peter Rivera (formerly of Rare Earth), and Savoy Brown’s Kim Simmonds will be the all-star cast. The show gets underway at 7:30 pm and tickets are just $30.00 including Festival admission.
