The Maine Lobster Festival recently donated $1,000 to students of Oceanside High School and $500 to The Grasshopper. 

Students of Oceanside High School in Rockland received $1,000. The students who will benefit from the donation are members of the Intensive Spanish in Spain. The group of 16 students will be spending two weeks in Granada and Malaga, Spain. They will study Spanish at Enforex language school, stay in host homes, and participate in cultural activities.

The Grasshopper Shop in Rockland received $500. The donation will be used to help with the upcoming Frozen Fun Fest, scheduled for Feb. 15, 11 am-4 pm at Harbor Park.

Five days of fun and feasting on the fabulous coast of Maine, the Maine Lobster Festival attracts thousands of people to the Midcoast region and has a long tradition of giving back to the local community.
